I met a future teacher...

And he actually wanted to interview me. When I was in high school, I was all punky and a Madonna wanna-be (it was the 80s so forgive me). I think it is awesome when a *kid* (and I have to use this term loosely since he sounds more mature than me) knows what he wants to do when he gets through with school. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up.

So, head over to see Jason and give him some bloggy love. Feel free to make fun of my responses. For the most part, I was in serious educator mode - although I find it difficult to be serious for very long.

All my love,

Beth

What great questions and responses! Jason's parents must be so proud of him, knowing exactly what he wants to do with his life now!

Beth, you've changed your avatar and I love it... had to look twice, but love it!

yeah, i've heard about those mature kids that have it all together and are self-motivated and all. i'd better stop before i make myself cry.

i will be more than happy to make fun of your responses!

I loved the 80s, but I don't miss the fashion! I checked out Jason's blog and love the answers he gives.

Since I'll be an empty nester before I'm 40, I'm going back to school and seriously considering teaching! My mother was a teacher for over 30 years and always felt like that was what I wanted to do, but since I had a sickly child felt strongly I needed to be home. He's not sickly anymore and it's time for me to move on!

OK now I'm humiliated. I'm almost 40 and I STILL don't know what I want to be when I grow up.

So far, I've narrowed it down to rich and skinny.

Will go tomorrow because it's past my bedtime now. But I will go tomorrow. I always do what I'm told. Especially when the order comes from the principal. *wink*
