Oh, goodie! A card! I love getting mail.
It was a card from one of our close friends
Awww. What a lovely card. I didn't even know they made Thanksgiving cards.
Holy turkey feathers! What is that she wrote?
Remember its a USA holiday only
So, not only is this a card, it is a history lesson. Apparently, I need to quit drooling and to act my age not my shoe size when she comes over.
I wonder if Hallmark sells a Thanksgiving apology card.

That's, uh, odd.
Wow, after I read that I was totally prepared to give a a really good comeback to that statement, but I can't seem to get my jaw up off the floor.
Kristina - Odd is a good adjective to use with her! She is sweet but definitely marches to the beat of a different drum.
Optimistic Pessimist - I really can't come up with anything either. Well, maybe... Nope. I got nothing.
I haven't received a snail mail card in a long time...
:-)
I'm taking a break from baking too.
Erin - What are you baking? I've made Pecan Pie Bars, Cranberry Nut Bars, Pumpkin Cheesecake, and Key Lime Cake. I'm worried because there isn't any chocolate!
I can't wait until she sends you a Christmas (remember this is a holiday for Christians only) card!
smiles. best i got.
Marinka, that is a good one, I was thinking that too. Maybe Beth could make a card, a special THANK YOU card to especially THANK her for the lovely THANKSGIVING card???
That is too funny! My mom sends everyone in the family their very own card for every.single.holiday. I think she may even make some up. But she has never thought to remind me that Thanksgiving is for us only.
Oh oh I know, send her something about July 4th... and how it's celebrated internationally ;)
Uh. WOW. She made me feel GUILTY and I don't even KNOW her.
Ha! I think everyone has THAT friend.
well is she super patriotic or just the odd duck?
I have to start thinking about who I am going to send Arbor Day cards to?
Arbor day is international, right??
Awwwwww...what a patriot. Hallmark has a card for every holiday.
That's awfully funny!
I'm sorry, it isn't very Thanksgivingy, but all I could think was WTF...
I second "WTF"?
What kind of friend is that?
hmmm... so do I have to stop telling my patients to have a great thanksgiving?!?! we're a big melting pot here... perhaps they aren't american. crud. thought i only had to sensor myself around the winter "holidays". :(
Really? Who writes something like that.
Really? You are kidding right? Wow.
This just confirms my belief that all cards should have food on the front.
:) It's all I got. That makes me laugh and I am not sure why, what does that say about me?
Well, it's true...I'm still not quite sure why she would write that, but I know that no one in Canada cares that it's a US holiday. (and that I have to miss going home to see my family!) sniffle.
Being a card MAKER, not a SENDER, I believe the sending of Thanksgiving cards is another of those made-up-to-keep-us-afloat Hallmark thingies. Halloween, too. Never before did I realize people send cards on Halloween.
And yeah, it's a USA holiday. So what?
Your friend must be GOOD friends with my aunt...she sent a Thanksgiving card too, but sans history lesson.
But it is a Canadian holiday as well...just on a different date...
Um, "interesting" card!
i already suck at sending cards. even thank you ones. truly, truly terrible. we missed the bus on my last one's birth announcements and truth be told, i could care less. he is here - i love him - i'll tell you if you call me.
happy thanksgiving cards. thats a new one.
have a happy one with your family.
Just in the US? So Canadian Thanksgiving is fake? Whatever, as long as I get turkey.
i hope you and yours have an amazing thanksgiving! smiles.
Cute.
Go elementary school personell on her and tell her it should be it's, not its. :)
You're hysterical.
Sorry, should have said that TechnoBabe directed me this way!
