ABC Gum

Already Been Chewed Gum
It has many meanings

On the bottom of your shoe

Stuck beneath the desk

A breath freshener hoping for that kiss

On the roof of a mouth, hoping the teacher won't notice during class

A terrible joke crammed into the key hole

An announcement that Miss Poopy is back in the saddle

(She stole the gum from my purse.)

************************

Go Miss Poopy Go!

************************

Miss Poopy had a relapse last week and suddenly began dragging her back legs. Just over a year ago a disk ruptured in Miss Poopy's back causing her to be totally paralyzed. After surgery and therapy, she regained her ability to walk (even if it does look a bit like Slinky dog).

Miss Poopy spent several days in the doggie jail hospital and now she is home and able to walk again. Another delay in the ordering of the wheels! Crisis deferred.

Carry on.

Oh poor Miss Poopy. Glad she regained her leg use for now. Poor baby. Maybe she needed the gum because she felt she had bad breath? LOL!!

I REALLY REALLY hope you can do the 1/2 with us!!

When it comes to judgement day gum droppers will be right at the bottom of the ladder, just below dentists and chiropodists.

I am a teacher and it is very important that kids don't chew gum in class because it ends up underneath chairs and desks and in our carpet!! :) I hope your dog is feeling better!

I am so glad she is OK now. What a sad thing.

Did Miss Poopy really eat the gum package? If she isn't feeling well and can't get around right now, then she deserves whatever she wants. Give her a hug from me.

And you're totally not letting her have any GUM!? MY GOD BETH! The dog just got out of the hospital. She might think she needs to wash that taste out of her mouth!

I really thought you'd be more compassionate.

PS do you have a secret surgery savings account toO??

Come on! 'Fess up!

Hoping Miss Poopy heals quickly and is back to feeling 100% very soon! Good thing that gum didn't get stuck in Miss Poopy's hair!

Keep her away from Jack and Kernel!!! LOL!

Sweet little Miss Poopy, so happy to hear she's doing better. Did she swallow the gum? Did she go rummaging through your purse to find the gum? Has she had gum before? She needs to get off the gum. Give her a peppermint for bad breath - unwrapped!

Thanks for all the well wishes for Miss Poopy. She loves to rummage in my purse (I don't love for her to do so) and she has issues with eating the packs of gum. Silly dog.

Ooh, I'm glad that she has enough spunk in her to go rifling through your purse for gum. She is so cute.

Kulio said...

ohhhh!!! I worry about that for our small dachsund - he jumps up onto couches and down..I wince every time...

Glad she's back!

Beth said...

Erin - She definitely has her spunk back!

Kulio - If I could go back in time, I'd try to find a way to change all the jumping. We don't know how she did it when she ruptured that fateful disk - but I know that jumping wasn't good for her. Now, she is dog (not old, she will be 5 next month) who has learned new tricks. It does help that she can't jump up any more. Truthfully, I miss the days when she could.
