Beautiful, Beth. You have the gift. And it's rare indeed. I can't do it. A limerick or two maybe but poetry stops me in my tracks.

ReplyDeleteI just saw Disney's Frog Princess yesterday, and they have bayou scenes in the swamps? Your words made me think of that.
Nice job on the 160, it helps if the computer tools function is on character count setting, include spaces, I tried it away from home and it drove me crazy without the computer.

ReplyDeleteI can visualize the moss dancing from the huge trees while the alligators see all. The promise of change is not assured change, so for me a promise is elusive. See, I take things way too literally. That's probably why I have problems writing fiction. I was surprised to see you join the writing challenge and pleasantly surprised with your finished product.

Wow...very nice. I also can't say much of anything in 160 characters...I use that many in punctuation. I likes my question marks....
